This replacement carpet roller is made for the Karcher SCV 4 steam vacuum cleaner range. It measures 27.5cm long.

This is the carpet specific roller, not the hard floor one. The pile is firmer so the roller works down into carpet instead of skimming over the top of it, which is what lifts the grit and hair that has settled into the base of the pile. Used with the steam from the machine it agitates and freshens carpets and rugs in a single pass. If you have been running the hard floor roller on carpet and finding it makes very little difference, this is why, as the two rollers are built for different surfaces. Wash the roller between changes and let it dry fully before refitting.
